Review on the Motorola T305 Bluetooth car kit.

The Motorola T305 is one of the best selling Bluetooth car kits. Bluetooth car kits are an ideal solution for those who want to talk on a cell phone hands-free while in their car, but don’t want to wear a headset or earpiece.

Motorola T305 overview
Setting up the Motorola T305 is a breaze, it involves simply pairing it with a Bluetooth enabled phone and then attaching the device to your car’s sunvisor, it comes with a small mounting clip for this purpose.

Incoming calls are controled by a multi-purpose button on the front, which flashes red and sounds an alert that is set to automatically match the ringtone of your cell phone. By simply pressing the button the call is answered with the conversation directed though an inbuilt speakerphone. This button can also be used to activate voice dialing if your cell phone comes equipped with this feature. The front of the T305 is nicly designed with a replica carbon-fiber panel that ads much excitment the otherwise boring black plastic cover. At the base of the unit is a mini-USB port that serves the purpose for charging the device via your PC. You can also use the vehicle power adaptor which plugs into the car’s cigarette lighter.

Motorola T305 Features
The T305 comes equipped with powerful 1-watt speaker and is enhanced with echo and noise reduction technology that help overcome any ambient sounds. It operates by Bluetooth 2.0 wireless connectivity, the T305 comes with an EasyPair feature that makes connection with a Bluetooth enabled cell phone easy and involves no installation. The package also includes all necessary cables for charging as well as the removable sun visor clip. We found that the device also worked fine while being in one of our vehicle’s storage compartments. The sun visor however remains the best location for this Bluetooth car kit. This car kit does not come with voice activation, so you will need to remove your hand from the steering wheel for a short moment to answer and end your call.

Motorola T305 Review by Our Staff
The T305 comes fully charged out of the box and paired very easily with our cell phone without any hassle. The powerful speakerphone is extremely loud and worked well even when being set to moderate volume levels. Unlike other integrated Bluetooth car kits, the Motorola T305 won’t close your car’s stereo if an incoming call comes through, a feature that some people would enjoy having. The ring tone was easily heard even while having the music turned on loud + having our windows down, so there is definatly no problem with missing call with this car kit. The party on the other line was able to hear the conversation crisp and clear without any ambiant noises. Motorola says that the battery is capable of 12 hours talk time and 200 hours on standby. Though this seems long, many competitor models such as BlueAnt’s SuperTooth 2 last nearly four times as long.

Rounding Off the Review
This Motorola T305 Bluetooth Car Kit did impress us. It’s reliable and easy to use and we’d recommend it to anyone looking for a good wireless Bluetooth car kit with a low price. The battery life is more than enough for most trips.

ShopCell.com offers this Motorola T305 Bluetooth Car Kit for as low as $44.99
