Apple Sold 1 million 3G iPhones in the First Two Days!
Apple managed to overcome the activation problems it faced throughout the day of it's launch and reported that it sold its 1 millionth 3G iPhone on Sunday. When Apple launched the first version of iPhone last year in June, they only sold 270,000 units in the first two days, it took them 74 days to reach the 1 million mark.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs was delighted with their new iPhone's performance, saying that the "iPhone 3G had a stunning opening weekend."
The iPhone 3G is currently available in 21 countries and it will launch in 49 more by the end of this year.
