How to Get Your iPod Ear Buds Clean.

People know that they have to clean their sock, shirts, pants etc. but somehow when it comes to iPod headphone ear buds few people pay attention about its hygeine. Afterall iPods headphones are are inserted in the ones ear fro quite a nice amount of hours each day, so thought should be put in to its hygiene.
Cleaning iPod earphone buds is not a strenuous job, so lets discuss today the few simple steps that will get yours clean from your ear's residue.
Unplug the ear phones and move the iPod to a distance.
Although this step sounds like unnecessary to list, I had a friend that skipped this one and ended up with a damaged iPod. So make sure to remove the iPod earphones and move the iPod to a safe distance.
Soak a Cotton Ball
Take a cotton ball, a good quality 100% cotton ball is preferred for optimum performance, and place it over a hold it at the opening of a isopropyl rubbing alcohol bottle. Then while at it, quickly turn the bottle upside down, thereby wetting the cotton ball slightly.
Rub the iPod ear buds
Rub the iPod ear buds very gently with the cotton ball, while putting in thought not to get the ear buds too wet, as this may damage the ear buds. The ear buds should only get slightly damped.
Repeat the above steps until fully clean
Repeat the above steps as much as needed. If the cotton ball gets too wet then change it with a new one.
Let ear buds dry
Allow the ear buds to thoroughly dry before using them again.
Enjoy your clean and like new iPod Earphones!
