I personally do not own a Parrot Minikit Bluetooth Car kit, since I have purchased the more expensive PARROT CK3200 LS-COLOR. However a friend of mine, knowing that I love to test and write reviews on new cell phone gadgets, offered me his new Parrot Minikit Car kit, so that I can test it and write my review. I must say that I was amazed at its easiness of use and the portability of the unit. My only complaint is that when clipped to the visor the angle made it difficult to touch the correct button. I feel it would have been better to have it positioned on the dash. Otherwise, I could not see any faults. The voice was clear, functioning excellent throughout the many phone calls. This is the best bluetooth kit I have so far, it has a loud speaker volume and very clear conversation via bluetooth connection, something I could not get with other bluetooth kits. The voice recongnition function is superb and I don't even need to do additional setup, I paired it with my RAZR and use the name dial or digit dial features on the phone and it works without a problem. I find that while driving this bluetooth kit picks up road noise and sometimes does not work perfectly. However it still worked perfectly even in loud noise conditions, although with some noise in the background. I guess it's not a Jawbone Bluetooth. However I did not pay the price of a Jawbone Bluetooth Headset. My conclusion, it's the best sounding, small size and light weight Bluetooth for the car. Works anywhere, great battery life, automatic pair with phone when unit is on, the price is wonderful. The best thing I like about it is the user friendly operation. A Real thumbs up for the Parrot Minikit.
