Tips on How To Buy a Used iPhone.

Now with rumors running really wild about a new iPhone release scheduled as early as this June, the market will soon start to get flooded with used iPhones. We can say that many or even most iPhones for sale will be in excellent condition and just being sold by a iPhone fan, trying to raise some income for purchasing the new iPhone. Many iPhones will also be sold by consumers who already have purchased the new iPhone and are looking for a way to get rid of their older version.
So let's take a closer look on how to go about purchasing a used iPhone.
There are quite a number of used iPhones available on auction sites on the Internet. But before you spend a cent for a used iPhone , you should read the guide on buying a used iPhone below.
Buy from the seller you know
It is always best to buy used items, particularly an Apple iPhone, from the people you know and trust. If you buy from your close friends and family, at least you can ask them for discounts and they will be more than willing to entertain your questions about the condition of the phone. If you are buying from an auction site, however, it is best to check the seller’s ratings and the feedback from his or her previous customers.
Make sure to inquire
The first thing you need to ask the seller is his or her reason for selling the phone. Ask if the phone is still under warranty. You should also know whether the phone has scratches or has been dropped. If you are buying from an auction site, such as eBay, you should be more careful because you don’t have the phone physically for inspection. Thus, you need to really read the fine words in the description and ask the seller for information about the phone before making the purchase.
Ask for a return policy
Since purchasing online means that you won't be able to inspect the iPhone until after the pyrchase and delivery, you need to have a return policy arrangement with the seller. Even if you buy it from a relative or freind, remeber that you won't really get to know the phone by inspecting it for a few minutes. It is advisable to arrange a return policy before purchasing. This will keep you safe in the event that the iPhone does not perform the way you expected.
Check for damages on the phone
When you have the phone, be sure to check for water damage. You should also check for dents, scratches and other damages. You don’t want to pay for something that is damaged.
Once you have your iPhone make sure to get the iPhone accessories that will help you get the most out of it. ShopCell.com provides many iPhoe Accessories at the lowest price on the web or elswhere. Make sure to checkout ShopCell.com's great selection for all your iPhone needs.

Does iPod Accessories work with the Apple iPhone?
This is a very common question amongst iPod and iPhone fans, so let's delve into the iPhone Accessories and iPod Accessories to see which accessories are compatible.
The iPhone is compatible with the majority of accessories designed for the iPod. For example many people are concerned that now that they have an iPhone and won't be carrying the iPod around they will lose the ability to connect up to a speaker system to share the music with others. You will be happy to learn that the iPhone has exactly the same connectivity port as that found on the iPod, so it will connect to any iPod speaker system or car dock that you might have already purchased.
However some iPod accessories have changed to better suit the iPhone. A good example is the iPod headphones. It is still possible to use regular headphones with the iPhone but when you receive a call you would need to take the headphones out to answer the call. For this reason Apple has especially designed a set of headphones for the iPhone, featuring a microphone built into the cord. When you receive a call the song you are listening to is paused and it's possible to answer the call simply by pressing a small button on the microphone. Another great feature found on the iPhone headphones is that you will hear your calls through both ears rather than one, and also being able to listen to the party on the other line in stereo sound which turns your phone conversation into a very exciting experience.
Another benefit with using an iPhone with a iPhone headset is that it means that your one headset serves both headset needs, for music and phone calls. It also helps to remain focused on the road since there is no need in removing one headset to insert another, just click the button on the iPhone headset and you have already answered the phone call.

Is a New iPhone on its Way? Will iPhone Reach 10 Million Sales by End of 2008?

Apple has not indicated how often they plan to update their hot selling iPhone, however there is major rumors that a new iPhone is on it's way, it might be as early as this summer. As with every rumor, many details emerge with only the consumer being able to decide for themselves if they are willing to accept the details or to steer it away as just being someones wild imagination. Some say that the design for the new iPhone has leaked, however many dismiss it as being unlikely.
Why should Apple need to update their iPhone, when their iPhone is a record hot selling cell phone, and is keeping strong in sales for almost a year? The answer is Wall Street.
At the announcement of the iPhone by Apple's Steve Jobs, Steve has raised expectations too high by specifying Apple's target of selling 10 million iPhones by the end of 2008. Now even though Apple announced in January of this year that since its launch of the iPhone on June 29 and up to mid-January, it had sold 4 million iPhones, most analysts were expecting a number more like 5 million. So even though the iPhone has been far more successful than anyone should have expected, since Apple has over estimated at it's launch it has caused shares to stumble.
However, Apple's Chief Financial Officer Peter Oppenheimer has announced in Jan. of 2008 that Apple is still "feeling confident" about reaching its goal of 10 million iPhones by the end of 2008. The question is, how will Apple do it? New markets is very unlikely to help the dilemma, since Apple has already targeted the global market in the past, not leaving any room for further expansion. Now the only market left aside by Apple in the past was China. However, the iPhone is too expensive for China and, besides, China has already got a bunch of iPhone counterfeit clones for Apple to compete with.
The next option would be new prices, however, although lowering prices will increase sales, analysts are skeptical if will get Apple to their 10 million goal, since it is highly unlikely that cheapskate holdouts will out-buy the Apple fans and gadget freaks who already own iPhones.
So the only way Apple could possibly feel "confident" of reaching 10 million units by the end of 2008 is if the company were to sell more iPhones during next year's holiday season than it did during the 2007 season. And the only way to do that is to sell to existing users. And the only way to do that is to come out with a new iPhone.
A new iPhone is likely to offer things like 3G, GPS and corrections for the many small annoyances that some current users complain about. And of course a new iPhone will come along with a whole new line of iPhone accessories, for which you can count on ShopCell Cellular Phone Accessories in providing you the very best for rock bottom low prices.
